(Alcobendas) Madrid, Spain / New York, New York, Feb. 1, 2022 – Amelia, a leading Enterprise Conversational AI software company, today announced that Toyota Financial Services España (TFS España), a subsidiary of Toyota Financial Services Corporation (TFSC), has hired Amelia as its customer care virtual assistant to improve operational efficiency and reduce response times to customer requests. TFSC primarily focuses on auto loans, leases and financing requirements for Toyota’s dealer inventory, providing auto sales financing to approx. 29 million customers worldwide.

As part of TFS España’s ongoing digital transformation journey, the company was looking for a Conversational AI platform with accelerated time-to-value that would improve operational efficiencies and reduce operating costs. TFS España was drawn to the joint value proposition of Amelia’s technology in partnership with Deloitte’s project delivery support, and hired Amelia as its customer care virtual assistant at the end of 2021.

Initially, Amelia will be responsible for performing financial contract management activities for TFS España. She will be available to talk with customers in Spanish through several channels including web chat, TFS España’s mobile app, WhatsApp and email.

By hiring Amelia to handle contract management tasks, TFS España will improve its customer response times, thereby increasing overall customer satisfaction. By automating contract management processes with Amelia, TFS España employees also will have more time to focus on strategic tasks and projects.

Raúl López, CIO of Toyota FS España said: “Toyota Financial Services España always puts its customers first, and as such, we strive to continuously refine and strengthen our customer service operations with the best solutions. By hiring Amelia as our customer care virtual assistant, we are better equipped to serve our valued customers with real-time, always-available financial contract management support.”

Chetan Dube, CEO of Amelia, said: “Toyota Financial Services España further breaks down the barriers to leasing cars for both individuals and companies by enhancing the organization’s financial contract management operations with intuitive and conversational self-service, powered by Amelia. TFS España is a trailblazer within the auto financing industry, and we are thrilled that the company has hired Amelia as its Conversational AI platform.”
